People love horror movies, but horror TV shows are not very common. While it seems like every horror movie has been dug up and re-imagined, the one that has not is “Friday the 13th.” That’s only because the rights had been tied up in court for years. But everything is settled now and a prequel series called “Crystal Lake” is in the works at Peacock. No plot details have been announced yet, but it is being produced by….A24! To refresh your memory, the killer in the “Friday the 13th” franchise is Jason Voorhees. SPOILER ALERT!!! His mom was the cook at Camp Crystal Lake, and he drowned there because the counselors were too busy hooking up to watch him. So, in the original “Friday the 13th” movie, Jason’s mom is the killer, killing new counselors to prevent the camp from re-opening. Jason only appears in a jump-scare at the very end. In the sequels, Jason is a hockey mask-wearing murderer who kills people mostly in and around the grounds of Camp Crystal Lake, except for a brief trip to New York and outer space.

In Season 4 of “Stranger Things,” Vecna’s lair in the Upside Down is in this big house, which is now up for sale. Located in Rome, GA, the home known as Creel House was built in 1882. The main house has 6BR/5BA, and there’s a separate guest house in the back yard. The home was last sold in 2019 for $350K, and the owners restored it to its original form. When “Stranger Things” producers were looking for a Victorian-style haunted house, they reached out to the owner who agreed to let them use some interior and exterior shots of the home. The house was also recreated on a soundstage in Atlanta. But with all the interest in the show, the homeowners thought they’d stick the house on the market and see if anyone bites. They’re asking $1.5M.

According to the US Sun, Pete Davidson is taking a break from filming his new Peacock show “Bupkis” after suffering a meltdown on set Thursday evening. A production source said, “Pete threw two candles through his trailer and damaged a second truck’s windshield. He also threw coffee on the walls and broke a TV in half inside his trailer.” The source added, “Pete’s been given some time off to get his s*** together and focus on himself.” We’re not sure when Pete will come back, but filming has continued without him.

Rapper Takeoff was killed in an early morning shooting in Houston. He was only 28. Takeoff was the youngest member of Migos, which he co-founded in 2008 with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. According to TMZ Hip Hop, Takeoff and Quavo were out celebrating Jas Prince’s birthday before ending up at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. About 2:30 this morning, there was a group throwing dice outside the bowling alley when an argument broke out and shots were fired, striking Takeoff either in or near his head. He died at the scene. Two others were shot and then driven to the hospital in private vehicles before help could arrive. We have no update on their condition. Quavo was not injured.

Taylor Swift continues to break records with her “Midnights” album. She is now the first artist in history to take over the ENTIRE Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The old record of 9 out 0f 10 spots was held by Drake when he released his album “Certified Lover Boy” last year. When she heard the news, Taylor tweeted, “10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.” Not only does Taylor have the top 10 spots, all 20 of her songs landed on the Hot 100.

Taylor also announced this morning that the American leg of her 2023 “Eras” tour kicks off March 18 in Glendale, AZ, winding its way across the US and wrapping up Aug. 5 in LA. International dates will be announced later. You can register for the presale on Nov. 15, or wait for the public on-sale at 10am your local time on Nov. 18.
