Civil War debuted at number one at the box office, with a better-than-expected $25.7M. This is the biggest opening ever for an A24 production. Starring Kirsten Dunst and Nick Offerman, the movie tells the story of what could happen in a second American Civil War. The movie focuses on a small group of journalists who travel from NY to the White house in an attempt to speak to the president before rebel factions get there. Coming in second in its third weekend was Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire with $15.5M. Third place belongs to Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire with $5.8M.

Patti Stanger owned a dating service in Beverly Hills called the Millionaire’s Club, which led to her own reality show called The Millionaire Matchmaker. Before the series, Patti boasted of having a 99% success rate, but once those millionaires got on TV, their DMs got flooded with all these temptations that were just too hard to resist. The series ran on Bravo from 2008-2015, and Patti went on to host another very similar show on WeTV called Million Dollar Matchmaker. That only lasted a couple seasons. But now Patti is back for round 3 with Patti Stinger: The Matchmaker, airing Thursday nights on the CW. With the assistance of Nick Niall, Patti is going to use her skills to make love matches for all types of folks, not just the rich ones.

Just a few weeks ago, Jon Bon Jovi said he and Richie Sambora weren’t in contact. He said it didn’t mean that he didn’t love him, but they weren’t on speaking terms. These hard feelings go way back to 2013 when Richie left Bon Jovi right in the middle of a tour. Jon said there was never any fight, but Richie “had issues” with alcohol and just stopped showing up. But it looks like the ice has started to thaw. Jon told Entertainment Tonight that he and Richie got together to watch the first three episodes of the new docuseries, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story. The two of them didn’t speak before filming, and in the documentary, Richie apologized for the way he left, and it was the first time Jon had ever heard him say he was sorry.

TikTok creator @nicky.reardon went viral with her speculation that Kylie Cosmetics is going bankrupt. Basically, Nicky surmised that Kylie Jenner must has been frantically launching all these new products hoping to recapture the financial success she had with her Kylie Cosmetics lip kits, but that “Kardashian magic” has died. In the comments, many agree with Nicky that Kylie’s empire is crumbling and wouldn’t be surprised if she declares bankruptcy in the next 2 to 3 years. In just the first few months of this year, Kylie launched a clothing line Khy, which Australia designer Jessica Johansen-Bell says is basically a ripoff of her “entire collection” from 3 or 4 years ago. Critics of Kylie’s new perfume Cosmic say it’s nothing but a ripoff of Glossier. And is Kylie just being a big ol’ copycat by launching her own line of canned vodka sodas after seeing the success of Kendall’s tequila?
