Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have set the wedding date! Us Weekly is reporting that the couple will tie the knot over the Fourth of July weekend in Santa Barbara. Jessica said the original plan was to get married in Capri, Italy, but they decided it was too much to ask their friends and family to fly all the way to Europe. A source says Jessica won’t be wearing white for her second trip down the aisle. Jessica and Eric got engaged way back in November 2010 after only five months of dating. But she kept getting pregnant, which put their wedding plans on hold. Daughter Maxwell is now 2 and son Ace is 10 months.

When Miley Cyrus performed at a nightclub in London Friday night, she went off on her ex before she sang “Wrecking Ball.” It’s too vulgar to repeat here, but everybody assumed she was referring to her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth. Miley says we couldn’t be more off base about that. She finally addressed it on Twitter Tuesday morning, saying, “just FYI what I said the other night at G.A.Y had nothing to do with Liam. I was just tryin to rile up the boys.” Three minutes later she tweeted, “I don’t usually respond to tabloidy stuff but this isn’t something I want being spread around. It sounded hateful but not what I meant…I never want hateful things being said about those I care about… I was just tooooo turnttttt up.” Whatever, Miley. Is she going to say she didn’t mean to make that date-rape joke, either?

Justin Bieber is reportedly being investigated for attempted robbery — ?? A woman says she saw Justin and his friends playing miniature golf and he thought she was taking pictures of him with her cell phone. She claims Justin demanded to see her phone so he could delete the pictures, but when she said no, he reached into her purse and grabbed it. Her screen was locked and he demanded she unlock it. She did and she SAYS there were no pictures of Justin on there. Then she claims she told Justin that she and her 13-year-old daughter just wanted to say hi, and that’s when he yelled at her, “You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter! Why don’t you just get out of here?!” She says her daughter started crying … it was a mess. So she filed a complaint with the LAPD.

RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively that Jay Z and Beyonce WILL be at the Kimye wedding and that Jay will be the best man! The only rule is — Jay and Beyonce refused to be filmed. So while E! will be allowed to show some wedding photos, none of them will include Jay Z and Beyonce. Reportedly, when Jay sent the official RSVP, he also included a gift: a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted flask and a $10K bottle of scotch, meant to be drunk on Kanye’s wedding day.

Several sources are coming forward trying to explain what happened that made Solange Knowles attack her brother-in-law Jay Z. One source says Solange was “crazy drunk and out of it” at the party and that she’s prone to outbursts. The source said Jay Z made some comment to Solange that she didn’t like and she just snapped. But what did he say? Reportedly, he wanted to go to Rihanna’s Met Gala after-party solo, and Solange though that was very disrespectful to his wife and her sister, Beyonce. Even before the fight with Jay Z, Solange was having issues at the party. One source said she had a run-in with Rachel Roy and that Rachel provoked it. Reportedly, Beyonce intervened at that point, warning Rachel not to talk to her sister.
