After all the receipts were counted and the box office dust settled, “Elvis” is king. It was neck-and-neck there for a while, with industry analysts estimating “Elvis” and “Top Gun: Maverick” had both earned about $30.5M. It was a great guess, but ultimately “Elvis” earned $31.1M from 3906 theaters and “Top Gun: Maverick” brought in $29.6M from 3948 theaters. So “Elvis” also beat out “Top Gun” per theater, $7962 vs. $7497.

Who DOESN’T love Dolly Parton? And who WOULDN’T want to go on her tour bus? Not only can you go on Dolly’s bus, you can spend two nights in it! Dolly’s tour bus, which she named Suite 1986, is now permanently parked at Dollywood DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, TN. For $10K, you can spend two nights on her customized bus, which has special Dolly touches all over it, including one of her guitars, a tambourine and other memorabilia. It’s got marble floors in the kitchen, which includes a full-size refrigerator and a dining table. There’s a lovely sofa, two separate toilets and a tub, bunk beds plus a master suite with a full-size bed and a big TV. There’s even a wig cabinet! Ten grand is a hefty price tag, BUT…part of the proceeds go to the Dollywood Foundation and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Mandy Moore had just started her first tour in 15 years. When she announced the tour, she also announced she’s pregnant with her second boy. But Mandy is canceling the remaining stops on her tour, saying, “It has been an honor and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you. When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed. I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home.” Mandy and her husband Taylor Goldsmith were married in November 2018 and their son Gus is now 16 months old.

In a new interview with “Vanity Fair,” Dakota Johnson revealed what it was really like making the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy. Dakota said the book’s author, E.L. James, had creative control and was very demanding “all day, every day.” Dakota said E.L. insisted on things that just wouldn’t work in a movie, like a character’s inner monologue, which Dakota said “was at times incredibly cheesy….It was always a battle. Always.” Dakota said they would end up doing multiple takes, the version the author wanted and what EVERYBODY ELSE wanted. Dakota said, “If I had known at the time that’s what it was going to be like, I don’t think anyone would’ve done it. It would’ve been like, ‘Oh, this is psychotic.’”

An ambulance took Travis Barker to a local hospital yesterday, but doctors said his condition was so serious, he needed to be transported to Cedars Sinai. Travis tweeted, “God save me.” That also happens to be the title of a song he produced for his buddy Machine Gun Kelly, so was it a timed tweet to promote that? We’re not sure. But several hours later, Travis’ daughter Alabama posted an IG Story, asking, “Please send your prayers.” At this point, Travis remains hospitalized but nobody is releasing any information. His wife Kourtney Kardashian is with him.
