Steven Tyler’s seizure… Julia Louis-Dreyfus has breast cancer… “Sex and the City 3” won’t happen… Prince’s auction made big bucks… and Wendy Williams warns husband to cut ties with rumored affair
Steven Tyler suffered an unexpected seizure. He tweeted that it’s not life-threatening, but it’s something he needs to deal with right away. This means Aerosmith will have to cancel the remaining dates on their South American tour. Steven promised all of us that he will be back once he’s well enough.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus announced on Instagram on Thursday morning that she has breast cancer. She was diagnosed the day after she won her sixth Emmy for playing Selina Meyer on HBO’s “Veep” — a record for an actor playing one character in a series. She posted, “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one.” Jason Alexander, who played George on “Seinfeld” alongside Julia’s Elaine, tweeted his support, telling Julia, “@OfficialJLD so sorry you have to go thru this, pal, but I know you will prevail. We are here if/when you need and we love you.”
And just like that, the hopes of gay men across America have been dashed. Sarah Jessica Parker told Extra that there won’t be a “Sex and the City 3.” She said she’s disappointed because they had a “beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story.” And she said it’s a shame because the audience has been so vocal about having one more movie. So who can everybody blame for this? Kim Cattrell. She refused to do the movie unless producers backed her other film projects. The answer was no. And, obviously, there’s no “Sex and the City” without Samantha.
A week or so ago I told you about a website that was auctioning off items that belonged to Prince. That auction is now over and some of his stuff went for big bucks! Prince once said, “People say I’m wearing heels because I’m short. I wear heels because the women like ‘em.” Well, Prince, we liked them on YOU. But the custom yellow high heel booties that Prince wore throughout his European “Sign o’ the Times” tour went for just over $75K! Some of the other big money items included Prince’s 1980 Rick James Tour all-access backstage pass, which sold for just over $60K, and an advance pressing of Prince’s unreleased 1986 album “Camille,” that went for almost $59K.
HollywoodLife.com says Wendy Williams is laying down the law with her husband, Kevin Hunter, telling him to stop hanging out with his massage therapist friend Sharina or ELSE! After rumors surfaced that Kevin had been seeing Sharina on the side for ten years and even bought her a house a couple miles down the road from the home he shares with Wendy, she went on her talk show and flashed her ginormous wedding ring, telling us all, “I stand by my guy.” But OFF camera, sources say Wendy is humiliated. While she believes Kevin hasn’t been unfaithful, this had made her look bad. So sources say she told her husband to cut all ties with Sharina. “No meetings, lunches, texts or calls. Period.” And she made it clear that if Kevin hurts her like this again, she will be forced to make some drastic changes. Just a note, this isn’t the first time Kevin is rumored to have been unfaithful to Wendy. In fact, four years ago, Wendy admitted in an interview that Kevin had an affair back in 2001.
