We don’t know the title, the plot or the premiere date, but the cast of the 10th season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” was revealed yesterday in a video. There are the usuals like Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Evan Peters. But! No mention of Emma Roberts, who’s been in all nine previous seasons. There was a big surprise, as well — Macaulay Culkin! This will not only be his first time on AHS, this is Macaulay’s first time as a regular on a mainstream TV show. He tweeted yesterday, “I just woke up and saw I was trending. Can someone explain what’s going on? Did I die again??” By the way, AHS has been renewed through season 13.

Last month, Disney+ announced that after filming 2 episodes, their reboot of “Lizzie McGuire” was being put on hold to “move in a different direction” and “put a new lens” on the series. We didn’t know exactly what that meant and Hilary Duff made no comment at the time. But now that Disney+ announced they’re moving “Love, Victor” over to Hulu because it didn’t fit in with their family friendly content, Hilary posted a screenshot of the new on her IG Story and captioned it, “Sound familiar..” So far, no word on whether they’re going to continue filming “Lizzie McGuire” or just scrap the idea altogether.

Last week, Britney Spears broke a bone in her foot while dancing, and she happened to be filming it when it happened. Yesterday, she posted the video of her dancing frantically in an empty studio, and if you decide to watch it, LEAVE THE SOUND OFF!!!! She captioned it, “I haven’t danced in six months so I was full throttle at this spot !!!! And yes …. I know I’m barefoot. Don’t laugh but I grip the floor better that way !!!! PS you can hear where I broke my foot here ….. sorry it’s kind of loud !!!!!” And it WAS!!! Super cringeworthy!

Something happened in court yesterday that could be HUGE for Lori Loughlin’s defense in the Varsity Blues college bribery scandal. Lori’s team has been arguing that there’s evidence the government has been withholding. Yesterday, in a case with another parent being prosecuted in the scandal, the government turned over 309 pages of text messages from Rick Singer’s phone. Rick is the accused ringleader in this whole thing, serving as the middleman between the parents and the universities. In these texts messages, Rick told several people that the FBI yelled at him and tried to bully him into lying about what the parents actually knew. In the texts, Rick provides evidence that the parents believed the money they were giving were actual donations to these universities and not bribes, like the FBI says. In one text, Rick writes, “Loud and abrasive call with agents. They continue to ask me to tell a fib and not restate what I told my clients as to where their money was going –to the program not the coach and that it was a donation and they want it to be a payment.” And if parents believed their money was being donated to a school without guarantee of admission, they COULD escape culpability. Now Lori’s lawyers are considering filing motions to dismiss and motions for sanctions against prosecutors for withholding this crucial evidence.
