Big Al’s Blog: Batting a thousand

It’s official. I have run out of girls. Haha. Ok, not really but check this out. I met this girl for lunch and when she got there, she told me that we had already met. I was thinking that this was our first meeting even though we had talked on Facebook for a while. In fact, she said not only had we met but she called me one night a while back and I invited her over. She came over with a friend and hung out for about 30 minutes or so. She admitted that not only was I a little tipsy but she was too. Her friend was driving. Wow, I guess I have run out of girls and I’m starting to repeat! But she did inspire me to do one thing. This girl is one of those girls that works out a lot. Twice a day. So yes, I got my fat ass on the treadmill tonight and I set my alarm for an hour earlier tomorrow morning so I can hit it then as well. I haven’t done two a day work outs in years but I’m gonna give it a try.

So, a week or so back on America’s Got Talent, they brought back people that they had previously eliminated to have one more shot. Wouldn’t it be great if we could do that in real life? Wouldn’t it be great if you could recall people that you somehow let slip away or maybe they got the wrong impression of you or you had a less than stellar first impression and you would get a second chance at making things right? I can’t tell you how many girls I would call to do the whole second chance thing with.

Speaking of second chances, Honey 2 still won’t return my text messages. So, I guess that’s done. Man, I’ve been batting a thousand huh? She apparently is so pissed, she never wants to speak to me. And since I was doing so well with the honeys, I sent a text to honey 3 too…just saying hi and asking how she was doing. Zero response. Did I do something here that dictates a no response? I built her a freaking bench.
