Big Al’s Blog: Big weekend planned

It seems like everyday, I’m messing up. Yesterday morning at 4am, I spilled gallons of water at my girlfriends house when I over watered her tree in her living room. And, last night, I was supposed to take my dog, Curtis, to obedience school. But I took a nap and woke up too late to take him. That would have been something great to have my Eskimo Assistant to take care of but I forgot. It seems I may need another assistant to remind me that I have an assistant to do stuff like this. And now, I’m kinda freaking out because I have misplaced the “Thank You” card and the “Birthday card” that I was supposed to send out. but if I do find them, I am determined to not mess up the last items on the honey do list which is to sign them, buy some bottles of wine and get them to the right people.

Then, I guess I messed up later in the evening by going to the doctor’s office for my annoying cough that won’t go away. But, I took my dog…And apparently, taking your dog with you to the Dr’s office is kinda frowned upon. haha. duh, I’m an idiot. So, they told me to come back when I didn’t have a dog with me. Those Dog Racists!

Then, this weekend, there are 3 big events that I have planned at the bar. First on Saturday, It’s Midget Wrestling. I have done this event before but I have never done it as an opening act for another event. This time the Wrestling show will serve as an opening act for the Mayweather Fight. So, that should be a pretty busy day. Then, on Sunday, I have a Salsa band coming in for Cinco de Mayo. I originally planned on having these guys come in for my girlfriend’s birthday since she loves Salsa dancing so much but when she told me that she was going to be out of town for her birthday, I had already booked the band. But it should still be fun times. And the third event is on the actual day of Cinco de Mayo, Which is Monday. I am bringing Sir Mix A Lot in to do a show at my bar. He hasn’t performed here in town in more than 10 years. So, I’m really excited about that one. That’s “A-LOT”—haha, no pun intended.

This should definitely be filed under: “Wow, What a weekend!”
