When you’re single, you just “go and do.” When you are in a relationship, you ask and don’t do. Ok, maybe it’s not quite that bad but at the very least, you must check with the other person and keep them informed on the schedule. In fact, you really don’t have 2 separate schedules when you are in a relationship…you have 1 big together schedule, right? At some point in a relationship, I’m not sure when it happens, it is a given that when you have a social event that comes up, you are going together! When does this happen? I’m not complaining,  I promise. It’s just an observation. At first, you’re dating and you are doing separate stuff. Then, all of a sudden, everything is together. No one really makes an announcement or puts out a press release…it just happens. I remember over the weekend, I told my girlfriend that we were going to a party Friday evening for a buddy of mine. She said well thanks for letting me know. I just assumed that she knew that we would be hanging out together. So, it’s not just that it’s the girl in the relationship doing it, the guy does it too. How does this evolution happen? Baby, just in case you read this, I love spending my weekends with you.

2 weeks until football!!!! And you know what that means? 2 weeks until we have busy weekends at the bar again. It’s been a long stretch since basketball but somehow we made it through! Yeah football.
