J-Si’s Blog: Thought you were gonna pay for that…

We are about to embark on a pretty cool journey, as a show… the whole taping process of Dish Nation begins tomorrow, which means we should all get some sleep. Am I right, or Am I right?! This would be much easier if Cason’s top front teeth had decided to come in at another time, lets say the weekend. Nope, they chose this week. Cason has decided to take this pain with the old fashioned random uncontrollable screaming. Good times! We may also be experiencing our first ear infection, but that is based on the wonderful, and informative website that is webmd.com. We called the doctor and will be hooking Cason up with an exciting visit tomorrow. Yay babies!

Speaking of babies, Kinsey and I may have committed a bad whoopsie. Did you know that if you don’t pay your power, they will eventually shut it off? Simple question, with a simple answer… except when two married people do not communicate. It happens, but it is definitely not very desirable outcome in the middle of a 100 degree day with the humidity of my middle school gym teacher’s arm pit. Trust me, it was humid. He liked to put his arm around you and tell you about how great you did during his class. Nice guy. Solid mustache. Wet armpits. Two out of three cool traits are not bad. haha. We sat in the heat for 3 hours… even the, “we have an 8 month old baby” excuse didn’t work with the employee of the power company. We even promised that we were trying to pay the bill. I guess you gotta follow the rules, but sometimes you have to play the hero card and allow an 8 month old to be hooked up with some A/C action. Luckily, Kinsey paid the bill. We argued over who’s fault it was. They turned the power back on. We watched teen mom. All and all, I would call it a failure of a day, but a pretty good night.

Still no news on the new house front, but they did receive the offer, and some more papers were signed by this guy. Pretty sure my life could have been signed away by Kinsey, and we would not know. Hopefully, we will know tomorrow. Kinsey’s sister appears to be the on people who don’t love our house side. Is it fair to say that a family member may get slightly jealous when their sibling finds a bigger house for a bit cheaper? Or maybe she really doesn’t like this area. Who knows? Also, are you allowed to search the current owners of the house on Facebook? Guilty! I will admit to that. They look like nice people… just wish their pictures were not private so some more spying could be done.
