The Friends Experience sets up shop at different cities around the country. You get to take pictures in the stairwell with the sofa and plop down in Joey and Chandler’s recliners and sit at Rachel and Monica’s kitchen table and take lots of cute pictures. But after a couple weeks, the Friends Experience would pack up and move on to the next city. Now Warner Bros. wants to open up a chain of Central Perk coffee houses that will be “imbued with the same heart and soul as the iconic setting from the series. Central Perk Coffeehouse will be a place for fans (and friends) to slow down and come together over great coffee and eats.” Apparently, Warner Bros. wants to open these sometime next year, we just don’t know when, where or how many locations there will be. But in the meantime, you can buy your own Central Perk coffee at CentralPerk.com.

Last Sunday night, almost 10M people tuned into the debut of the new “Game of Thrones” prequel “House of the Dragon,” making it the biggest series premiere in HBO history. As of Friday, more than 20M had watched it. So it really should come as no surprise that after just one episode, HBO has renewed “House of the Dragon” for a second season. The spinoff is set 200 years before the events in “Game of Thrones,” focusing on how the House of Targaryen falls into civil war.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Ben Affleck are over in Italy trying to enjoy their honeymoon, when Jennifer Lopez sees one of her fan accounts has re-shared this video from her wedding reception where Ben is sitting in a chair as Jennifer sings a new song to him, complete with backup dancers. Jennifer was not having it. She wrote, “This was taken without permission. Period. Whoever did it took advantage of our private moment. I don’t know where you all are getting it from because we had NDAs and asked everyone not to share anything from our wedding. That is our choice to share. Anything I put out privately is OnTheJLo and it’s to share with my fans. Which I will do when I am ready to. This was stolen without our consent and sold for money.” The fan account then deleted the video. As of right now, it’s unclear who leaked the video but surely, it’s only a matter of time before someone figures it out, right?

The biggest award at the VMAs is Video of the Year, and last night, that honor went to Taylor Swift for “All Too Well — The Short Film.” Taylor is the first artist to win this award three times. She first won for “Bad Blood” in 2015 and then for “You Need To Calm Down” in 2019. In her acceptance speech, Taylor decided it was the perfect time to announce that she’s releasing a brand new album! No, it’s not a re-release of “Reputation,” as many has speculated. This will be Taylor’s tenth studio album, which she’s calling “Midnights,” and it features 13 brand new songs. She posted the album cover on her Instagram and captioned it, “Midnights is the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.” On the second slide, Taylor added, “We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back. We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren’t – right this minute – about to make some fateful life-altering mistake. This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves.” I. Have. Chills.

Britney Spears posted and then deleted a 22-minute audio clip on YouTube yesterday describing the abuse she suffered under her conservatorship. Britney revealed that she’s turned down tons of offers and lots of money to do an interview, but she said, “I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a sit-down proper interview.” She went on to repeat some of the things she told the judge when she was trying to get out of her conservatorship, like how her friends would come to see her in Vegas and go get pedicures and drink champagne while she wasn’t allowed to join them, and how when she refused to do a dance move her father forced her to go to a mental health facility. But there were a couple of bombshells that Britney dropped, as well. Britney said she was in a secret relationship with a man who was planning to whisk her out of the country. She said, “We had it all set up to leave, and it was a secret relationship.” Britney said she told her then-assistant about it, saying “My biggest fear was ‘What would my dad do if I did do something wrong? What if they found me? What would they do?’ … And she looked at me and said, ‘Are you kidding me, Britney? Your dad would never do that to you.’” But Britney said she’s “honestly more angry” with her mother Lynne than her father Jamie. She said that when reporters would ask Lynne about what was going on with Britney, Lynne “would innocently hide in the house and she wouldn’t speak up. It was always, like, ‘I don’t know what to say. I just don’t want to say the wrong thing. We’re praying for her.’” She also said that if her mother really wanted to help her, she could’ve gotten her a lawyer in “literally two seconds,” but it was a friend who finally helped her get one in the end. Lynne responded on her Instagram, posting a black-and-white photo of her and Britney in a happier time. She captioned it, “Britney, your whole life I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes! And also, I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only , eye to eye, in private. ❤️🙏”
