Showbiz Top 5: Khloe tweets about hubby’s cheating rumors

Khloe Kardashian finally breaks her silence …Why did cops tow 2 Chains’ tour bus with everyone inside?…and Batman has a new famous face. Kellie Rasberry has the scoop in today’s Showbiz Top 5.

One of the best parts of showing up for awards shows is the goodie bag!! I don’t know what all will be in the VMA gift bag this Sunday night, but I do know a few of the items:  Katy Perry’s newest fragrance, Brooklyn Nets gear, passes to SoulCycle and a copy of the book, Ending Addiction for Good:  The Ground-Breaking, Holistic, Evidence-Based Way to Transform Your Life, courtesy of Cliffside Malibu. Yes, the people who helped Lindsay Lohan figured there might be more than a few other celebrities at the VMAs who could benefit from their services.

In order to catch all of Teresa’s legal drama, producers of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” want to start filming the sixth season of the series as soon as they possibly can. However, a production source told RadarOnline.com that the women won’t get their new contracts for season six until after the reunion show for season five is filmed, and that doesn’t happen until the first week of September. And after watching the Housewives in NYC fight for raises and fail miserably, the women of NJ are a little skittish about making too many demands.

Khloe Kardashian finally addresses the rumors about her failing marriage. She’s been unusually silent about these two women claiming to be Lamar Odom’s mistresses, hasn’t she? But Khloe has now posted this message on her Instagram account:  “NEVER JUDGE SOMEONE WITHOUT KNOWING THE WHOLE STORY. YOU MAY THINK YOU UNDERSTAND BUT YOU DON’T.” Back on July 12, Lamar addressed the rumors with this tweet:  “Before her there never was and without her will never be. Wifey is real.”

Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz performed with Lil’ Wayne and T.I. in Oklahoma City Wednesday night, then he and his entourage piled on the tour bus and started heading toward NY for a listening party. But police officers suspected there may be drugs on board the tour bus, so they pulled it over and asked if they could do a search. But the driver said, you don’t have a warrant, so NO! And as they were placing the driver under arrest and escorting him away, 2 Chainz’s crew locked the door from inside. So the cops had the bus towed to a nearby police training facility with 2 Chainz and all his people inside. Then they were taken to jail and booked on obstruction-of-justice charges. OKC police got a warrant and searched the bus. They reportedly found some narcotics onboard, but they can’t determine whose it is. Meantime, everybody posted $2000 bail and got out. 2 Chainz later tweeted: “Don’t ask me ask OKC police department what they found on the bus . . . u won’t get an answer because nuthin’ was found.”

Warner Bros. has announced that Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman in the yet-to-be-titled Superman vs. Batman movie. Henry Cavill still gets to play Superman. This is the first time Superman and Batman have shared the big screen. And Warner Bros. says Ben’s Batman will be “an entirely new incarnation of the character.” Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also be in the movie, which is scheduled to open around the world on July 17, 2015.
