“Indiana Jones 5” — aka “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” — premieres on June 30. Director James Mangold says the movie starts with a 25-minute flashback sequence, which will “give the audience an adrenaline blast” from the days of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. At first, I thought they would do a montage of clips from the previous movie to remind us where we left off in Indiana’s story. But no — 80-year-old Harrison Ford will play a 35-year-old version of himself. The director said, “I just shot I’m and he pretended that he was 35….But the technology involved is a whole other thing.” So basically, using VFX technology ad old Luscafilm footage of a much-younger Harrison Ford, they’re going to take us back to 1944 with Indiana Jones and a castle full of Nazis. Then the movie will fast forward to 1969, which was the space race era. Harrison Ford was 38 when the first Indiana Jones movie, “Raiders of the Lost Ark” premiered. He will be 80 when “The Dial of Destiny” comes out. And — in the famous words of Michael Jackson promoting his last tour — this is IT. Harrison is done playing this character and do NOT expect him to make an appearance on the Indiana Jones TV series currently in the works for Disney+.

Once again, Ed Sheeran is being sued for copyright infringement. This time it’s over his 2014 hit “Thinking Out Loud.” Marvin Gaye’s daughter thinks Ed ripped off parts of her dad’s 1973 song “Let’s Get It On,” so she and the songwriter Ed Townsend are suing. The trial started in Manhattan Federal Court yesterday with Ed taking the stand to defend himself. When questioned by Townsend’s legal team, Ed said while many pop songs share similar chord progressions, he didn’t copy anything from “Let’s Get It On.” He testified, “If I’d done what you’re accusing me of doing, I’d be an idiot to stand on stage in front of 20,000 people (and do that). It is my belief that most pop songs are built on building blocks that have been freely available for hundreds of years.” Ed did admit to hearing the song in his childhood, but said “Thinking Out Loud” was inspired by a conversation he had about his grandparents with co-writer Amy Wadge. But all of this drama with the lawsuit has upset him so much, he doesn’t even want to listen to or talk about this song anymore. By the way, it was one year ago that Ed won a separate lawsuit over copyright infringement for his song “Shape of You.”

Celebrity relationship news — Halsey and Alev Aydin have broken up after almost 3 years of dating. She filed for full physical custody of their 21-month-old son Ender. A source told Page Six that the split is “totally amicable” and that the two of them plan to raise Ender together. The source said filing for sole custody was just a formality so Halsey could bring Ender along with her when she goes on tour this summer. Meantime, after a whirlwind romance, “White Lotus” star Lukas Gage and Kim Kardashian’s hairdresser Chris Appleton apparently eloped in Vegas over the weekend. Kim posted a picture of the three of them flashing fabulous poses before boarding her private plane, Kim Air. The three of the haven’t commented, but Page Six got court records showing Lukas and Chris applied for a marriage license. And their source says the couple got married at the infamous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas with only six invited guests, one of them being Kim. Lukas and Chris showed the first signs of being in a relationship in February when they both shared photos from a vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico. While the two of them never said exactly how they met, a lot of people figured they met ON that vacation. By March, Chris told Drew Barrymore that he was very much in love and a month later, it looks like they’re married.

It’s looking more and more like Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney’s movie romance has spilled over into real life. The two of them were in Vegas for CinemaCon to promote their rom-com “Anyone But You” and all people can talk about is their flirty chemistry. Sydney couldn’t keep her eyes off Glen when they posed for the cameras. And while introducing a clip of their movie onstage, Sydney referred to Glen as “Top Gun.” He said, “I love when she calls me that.” She even teased that it wasn’t until their fourth day of filming that she realized she was filming with Glen and not Miles Teller. Now these two could very well be playing this up to promote their movies, but based on Glen’s girlfriend’s recent actions, it looks like something more. Gigi Paris not only unfollowed Sydney on Instagram, she’s reportedly been posting a lot of breakup songs with shady captions. And while Sydney got engaged to Chicago restaurant owner and businessman Jonathan Davino last year, she hasn’t been seen wearing her engagement ring for a minute…

Morgan Wallen lost his voice. Bad timing, because he was only a few shows into his world tour. Morgan tried everything humanly possible to get his voice strong enough to pull off a show, but at LITERALLY the very last minute, he realized he just couldn’t do it. The Sunday night concert in Oxford, Mississippi, had to be canceled. The very next day, one of his now FORMER fans decided to sue him. In the court documents seen by Page Six, Brandi Burcham says, “Even if ticket prices are refunded, no offer has been made to reimburse concertgoers for other out-of-pocket expenses they incurred in connection with the concert cancellation, including transportation, lodging, food, merchandise sales, transaction fees and other such expenses.” On Tuesday, Brandi voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit, but her attorneys say they plan to refile this as a class action lawsuit that would represent many of the upset (and we assume FORMER) fans of Morgan Wallen.
