It’s back to work people! Well, it didn’t take long to get back into the groove. And what did I spend my afternoon doing? Planning my next trip for my birthday. Even though my birthday is mid December, I’m going to try to make this one a New Years Eve trip. And I know this is what folks normally do but it’s a new concept for me…I’m actually going to make my reservations early this time.And I’m going to tell all my friends so they can come join me in Playa del Carmen. But now here’s the sucky part. My girlfriend can’t go. That is really bad. She wants me to go…but that’s what you are supposed to say when you can’t do something that’s really cool and you can’t go, right…”no, I want you to go and hang out on the beach for New Years Eve and celebrate without me…I’ll be fine.” Man, it doesn’t seem like it but we’ve been dating for over 9 months.

Yup. Over 9 months ago I walked up to her table and brought her a “Pink Panty” shot. Who would have thought that Vodka, cranberry and peach schnapps could have changed my life? Well, obviously, it did. Is it weird to date someone for that long and to have never had an argument? Hmmm, maybe we should have one and see what it would be like?
