Liam Payne had a ‘complete MELTDOWN’

Mario Lopez is cast as Vince Fontaine… The Weeknd in a fight in Las Vegas… Lamar Odom update… “FABLife” rumors… and Liam Payne had a ‘complete MELTDOWN’

I was sorta excited about the live version of “Grease” coming to Fox on January 31. But now I’m not so sure…..Mario Lopez has been cast as Vince Fontaine. Is that okay? Julianne Hough and Aaron Tveit play Sandy and Danny. Vanessa Hudgens is Rizzo; Carolos PenaVega is Kenickie; Keke Palmer is Marty and Carly Rae Jepson is Frenchy. Jessie J kicks off the live show with her performance of a brand new version of “Grease (Is the Word).”

The Weeknd has pleaded no contest to punching a Las Vegas police officer back in January. The Weeknd — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — was involved in a fight at a hotel in Vegas and when officers arrived to break it up, The Weeknd hit one of them in the side of the head with a closed fist. To avoid jail time, The Weeknd has to go through an anger management course and an alcohol evaluation — whatever that means. He also has to complete 50 hours of community service, which he can do in his home country of Canada. Plus, he has to donate $1000 to a fund that helps injured police officers.

Lamar Odom has had two emergency surgeries, reportedly for chest issues. Doctors are forbidding all visitors except for his wife, Khloe Kardashian.  In the meantime, Lamar’s fans are showing him lots of love, even offering to give him a kidney for the transplant he’s rumored to need. Some are offering their kidneys for free. Others are looking for compensation. One guy says he’d sell Lamar a kidney for $25K. Another offered up his for $100K.

“FABLife” ain’t so fab after all…..Insiders told Page Six that ratings for the show have been falling since the show debuted in September and won’t make it to a second season unless things get better fast. Almost NOBODY is watching. This insider says it’s a disaster. In fact, Bethenny Frankel’s ratings were 29 percent higher than Tyra Banks’ show when it was canceled. But in a last ditch effort, new producers are being brought in to try to save it. By the way, Dr. Phil has the highest rated daytime talk show right now, followed by “Live! With Kelly and Michael” and Ellen DeGeneres.

Remember when I told you that One Direction canceled their concert in Belfast Tuesday night just minutes before they were supposed to go on? The excuse given at the time was that Liam was sick, but now sources are saying there was more to it. Reportedly, Liam had a “complete meltdown” and suffered a panic attack that made it impossible for him to perform. A source says he was devastated about letting everyone down, but he physically wasn’t able to get on on stage. Liam pulled himself together and was able to go on stage the next night. He tweeted his apologies and said he hoped everyone could make the band’s rescheduled show on Friday.
