The Razzies are always handed out the night before the Oscars. Unlike the Oscars, the Razzies honor the WORST achievement in film. This year, they created a special category — Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie. He won for “Cosmic Sin” — one of EIGHT movies he was in last year. Bad timing. Days later, Bruce’s family announced he was suffering from aphasia and that he was stepping away from acting altogether. Aphasia is a brain disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate or understand what others are saying. The Razzies have now retracted their award, saying, “If someone’s medical condition is a factor in their decision making and/or their performance, we acknowledge that it is not appropriate to give them a Razzie.”

Hopefully, this will be the last time we talk about Will Smith for a while. But he resigned from the Academy on Friday. Sources say Will was given a heads up that the Academy would likely vote to expel him for a decade or more, so he went ahead and removed himself, instead. By resigning, Will can no longer vote for the Oscars, but he can still be nominated for future awards, attend future ceremonies, and keep the Oscar he won. But that could all change after the Academy’s upcoming disciplinary hearing, and Will said he will accept whatever consequences they dish out. Meantime, several of Will’s upcoming projects are on hold. Will was supposed to do a movie for Netflix called “Fast and Loose,” but it’s been put on pause for now. That also seems to be the case for “Bad Boys 4.” Will already filmed a movie for Apple TV called “Emancipation” and it’s in post-production. It’s supposed to come out sometime this year, but no release date has ever been announced. And while every interviewer on the planet has been trying to get Will’s first post-slap interview, sources say he’s going to give it to Jada on her “Red Table Talk” Facebook show.

Logan Paul made his WWE debut at Wrestlemania 38, teaming up with The Miz to take on father and son team, Rey and Dominick Mysterio. Logan walked into the ring wearing the most expensive Pokemon card on the planet on a chain around his neck. It’s a Japanese Pikachu Illustrator card from 1998 graded “Gem Mint 10” by PSA. Reportedly, only 39 copies of this card exist. Logan got the card in a trade that valued the card at $5.275M, trading a PSA9 version of the same card plus $4M to get the only PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator in existence. PSA’s price guide values the card at $6M. Logan obviously took off the card for the match, which he and The Miz won. But The Miz turned on Logan and slammed him to the mat.

Doja Cat got into a heated Twitter battle with some fans last week and quit music. When someone questioned her sincerity, she doubled down and said she was (BLANKING) serious about quitting. But at the Grammys last night, Entertainment Tonight asked her about opening for The Weeknd on the North American leg of his tour, she said “Yes, I will. Yes. North America, I am coming.” So there’s that. Meantime, Cardi B got into it on Twitter with some fans who were upset she didn’t go to the Grammys last night. She tweeted, “Do I have any new music? Why would I show up with one nomination? And I lost it anyways, so you wanted me to go to the Grammys, lose an award, and me just be there smiling…” Cardi was also getting upset with fans pressuring her to release a new album and accused her of being lazy. She finally had enough and deleted her Twitter.

The Grammys were held last night in Las Vegas. The biggest award of the night — Album of the Year — went to Jon Batiste for “We Are.” Silk Sonic won Record and Song of the Year for “Leave the Door Open.” Olivia Rodrigo won Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance, while Doja Cat and SZA won Best Pop Performance By a Duo or Group: “Kiss Me More.” The biggest snubs of the night were Justin Bieber with 8 nominations, Billie Eilish with 7 and Lil Nas X with five. All three walked away with nothing.
