Who does a pub crawl on a Tuesday night??? That would be this guy right here! It honestly didn’t start out like that. Well, It kinda did. I thought I’d have a tasty drink treat at a different neighborhood spot at around 4p in the afternoon. I was only there minutes when this girl walks in that I kinda know. She’s a beer rep so of course, she wants to buy me a beer. 5 minutes later another buddy walks in and he’s by himself as well so the pub crawl had begun. I’m not really sure who’s idea it was to “crawl” but we left there after 20 minutes later and went directly across the street for one drink there. Then 20 minutes later we went a half block up the street and had another. We averaged about 20-30 minutes per bar and managed to slip a water in there from time to time. But before I knew it, we were in our 7th bar. Fortunately, our last bar was 5 blocks from my house so it was a short walk.
I’m sure that the aforementioned bar crawl pretty much negated my diet progress that I was sooo proud of yesterday. I lost another pound. 232lbs is what I weighed in at when I left the gym yesterday and I rewarded myself with a pair of nice jeans.
Speaking of rewards, I made a comment about a week ago that’s going to come back and bite me in the butt. I was driving down the street and found this really cool truck and I immediately fell in love with it. I took pics of it. I posted them all over my facebook page. I even wrote this comment on my page: I will buy this truck when I get down to 220 pounds.
Well, I kinda went one step further. I asked the salesman to appraise my current truck. He did and its all good. Not upside down. He called me yesterday and said the deal looks good and he just needs a check stub and a W-2. so, do I get the ride despite the fact that im not down to 220 yet? Or do I keep the motivating factor alive and not do the deal until I reach my goal?
