After months of drama, Elon Musk owns Twitter. To mark the occasion, he changed his Twitter profile to “Chief Twit.” When the deal officially closed yesterday, Elon immediately fired several top executives, which came as no surprise to them. Gone are the CEO, CFO, and the head of legal, policy, and safety — she’s the one who made the decision to permanently ban President Trump from Twitter. Elon has to pay these three of them more than $204M, so they’re not shedding too many tears. Elon said he plans to fire up to 75% of the current staff.

On November 28, Tory Lanez FINALLY goes to trial over shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet. It “allegedly” happened in July 2020 after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house. This week a judge ruled that Tory has to be under house arrest until his trial begins. Last month, Tory allegedly assaulted August Alsina at a concert in Chicago. Prosecutors in Megan’s case say this showed Tory is a threat to public safety and they wanted him placed under arrest. But Tory’s attorney Shawn Holley — you may remember her from all the Lindsay Lohan drama — argued that because no charges had been filed in the August Alsina incident and that these were only allegations, Tory should remain free until his trial starts. The judge decided to meet them in the middle, slapping a monitor on Tory’s ankle and ordering him to stay home for the next 4 weeks.

In former SNL castmember news, Melissa Villaseñor says it was her decision to leave the show because of severe panic attacks. She said, “I was struggling. I always felt like I was on the edge of a cliff every week. And I was like, I don’t want to be doing that to myself anymore.” Her former Chris Redd also made the decision to leave, perhaps because he didn’t want to face Kenan Thompson every day. Chris is now seeing Keenan’s ex-wife, and even though she and Keenan broke up before they started dating, everybody was saying there was no bad blood between the two comedians, but come on…….And now we hear this — Chris was attacked my a man wearing brass knuckles as he showed up at a comedy club in NYC Wednesday night. These two guys wearing masks and dressed like security guards had reportedly been hanging around outside the club for a couple hours. When Chris arrived, one of the men walked up to Chris and started pummeling him while the other stood across the street. They took off running, and Chris was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. Police are now reviewing surveillance footage hoping they can track these men down.

One of the songs on Taylor Swift’s new “Midnights” collection is resonating with a lot of women who’ve dealt with the heartbreak of miscarriage. In “Bigger That the Whole Sky” Taylor sings, “Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye/ You were bigger than the whole sky / You were more than just a short time / And I’ve got a lot to pine about, I’ve got a lot to live without / I’m never gonna meet. What could’ve been, would’ve been / What should’ve been you / What could’ve been, would’ve been you.” Taylor hasn’t said what the song is about so it’s up to listeners to interpret the meaning. Many say it resonates deeply. One posted online, “When I listened to ‘Bigger Than the Whole Sky’ all I could see in my mind is the baby I lost and this put words to everything I’ve felt since the miscarriage. I can’t imagine this being about anything else.” Another posted, “If people who have had a miscarriage can relate to and find comfort in Bigger Than The Whole Sky, I think that’s really beautiful and powerful. Please listen to this song.”

Bachelor Nation fans were shocked and thrilled when “Grocery Store” Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt announced they got married at the courthouse in NYC yesterday morning. They still plan on having a big wedding next fall, but as they said in their announcement, “…With everything being so public in our relationship, having a private moment just the two of us felt so special and intimate.” Joe and Serena got engaged during Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” but there was some drama leading up to the proposal. While Joe and Serena had an instant connection, Joe’s ex Kendall Long joined the show to see if he would give their relationship another shot. Joe said no and Kendall left, but then she came back right before proposals to let him know she was still in love with him. That didn’t work out for Kendall because it only made Joe realize how much he really wanted to propose to Serena.
